Evaluation of IE Core

To Mr.Richardson,

At first, I was so nervous because the member has changed. Actually, I was worried about it from Spring holiday. But I felt relieved by your funny reaction and talking. The introdustion was good so that I could talk to half of the member. But there were few opportunity to talk to people, so I wanted to talk to other groups of member more.

Video production was ok. I had a new ecperienced. However, because I had never used a video camera, I didn't know how to use. It took much time to learn about using video camera, so I wanted to have more time to take a movie. Editing was fun. I was suprised that we could edit like real TV program (laugh).

I had fun with your talking. I learn about situation of America(such as about homeless and street children), about literature and about movie. One thing I cannot understand is that you have too much black humours. Sometimes it's fun, but sometimes I cannnot laugh... But most of you talking, I liked it.

Leaning about Second life is nice because it's becoming popular in Japan as well. I sometime watch about Second Life on TV. It's always good to know about recent information so that we have many knowkedge of society.

Generally, I had a nice time. I don't know If my English was improved. I hope so...

Thank you very much for teaching us.

Oliver Twist

Oliver Twist was an orphan and he was brought up in a workhouse, then he was given by Mr. Sowerberry. Because he treated Oliver badly, Oliver ran away. He walked to London for a week. When he sat down with feeling lonely, coldly, tired and hungry, he met a boy named Dodger. Dodger took Oliver to his home to keep company with Oliver and introduce Fagin and Bill, who took care of Dodger and other children, to Oliver. He felt very happy to have such a friend and home. However, after few days, he realized that they made a living robbing. Oliver felt scared and ran away. He was helped out by gentlemen, Mr. Brownlow. Oliver got a happy life with Mr. Brownlow. However Oliver was found and rent away from Mr. Brownlow by Bill. He felt disappoint and had to spend time miserably again. One day he failed of his job and he was hit and thrown away on the street. Then Mrs. Maylie helped and took care of him. Fagin and Bill were worried if Oliver told someone about their rubbing. They tried to find and kill him. Nancy, Fagin’s company, betrayed them and told Mrs. Maylie about Oliver’s danger. Therefore Oliver was protected and finally adapted from Mr. Brownlow. He had a happy life with him after all.

This story had so many characters that I could hardly understand. In addition, it was difficult for me to imagine the children like Oliver and Fagin’s children who didn’t have mothers and fathers, and couldn’t live without robbing. Oliver was described as a pure, innocent and unworldly boy. Although he is a main character of this story, the scene he was speaking was rarely there. This is the point of this story. He was nothing to say, but put up with his situation. This his attitude moved to readers’ heart. This story also tells us how sturdy children were. Although children in this story didn’t have parents and money, they tried to live by themselves and make them enjoy their life. This is not only this story, but also many children are in such a situation even nowadays. If you read this book, I’m sure that you can rethink what the world should be like and realized how happy your life is.

Oliver Twist has become the movie. If you are interested in Oliver Twist, try to watch it!

Take action!!

I'm introducing you to my persuasion essay in IE Writing.
My theme is that Plastic bags should not be free.
I hope you will think of environment in our world and take action by reading my essay.

Most people usually take plastic bags to put the stuff which they buy when they go shopping. According to reuseablebags.com, about 500 million to 1 trillion plastic bags are used in the world every year. People do not care how many plastic bags they waste because they do not pay for plastic bags. Therefore, plastic bags should not be free. People should pay for plastic bags and learn how plastic bags are harmful to the environment. There are three main reasons why plastic bags are harmful and they should not be free; a consumption of natural resources, a destruction of marine life and an addition to landfill waste.

Firstly, plastic bags are made from oil and natural gas. However, oil and natural gas are limited and will run out unless we reconsider using them. According to reuseablebags.com, in Ireland people have to pay taxes for plastic bags and approximately 18,000,000 liters of oil have been saved since 2001. If we did in the same way Ireland people do, it is clear that we would be able to save an enormous amount of oil.

Secondly, plastic bags cause a destruction of marine life. According to Planet Ark, at least 100,000 birds, whales, seals and turtles are killed by eating bags mistaken for food. Some species are threatened by extinction because of plastic bags. People throw away used plastic bags and tens of thousands of innocent animals are killed by swallowing plastic bags. It shows that we only think of ourselves, not of animals. We must think of other animals because we coexist with them.

Finally, plastic bags are difficult to be dumped because they cannot be decomposed. According to Features, it takes plastic bags 20 to 1,000 years to decompose. Therefore, it is not only our trouble, but also it will be our descendant’s. We have a responsibility to protect our world in the future. Planet Ark notes that over 200,000 plastic bags are dumped every hour. Features points that “if each Australian family used one less plastic bags each week, Australians would save 253 million plastic bags a year.” What we have to do is to refuse to take the plastic bags once a week when we go shopping so that we can save huge quantities of plastic bags.

This essay has shown that plastic bags should not be free, due to a consumption of natural resources, a destruction of marine life and an addition to landfill waste to protect our world. Instead of plastic bags, people should bring cloth bags with them when they go shopping. Cloth bags are light, sturdy and reusable and they are not harmful if they are burned. It is important that each person in each country should think and take actions.

Having the 2016 Olympics in Tokyo or NOT??

The governor of Tokyo,Shintaro Ishihara insists on having the 2016

olympis. However,Tokyo should not have the 2016 Olympics for the following

reasons;economic and security.

First reason is economic. These days many cities have money trouble. They cannot

pay for their arrears.Yubari city in Hokkaido is a good example.Yubari city made a lot

of entertainments such as an amusement park and museums. However, because of

depression,Yubari city were bankruptcy. There are some cities like Yubari city.It costs

too much have the Olympics in Tokyo.Instead of spending money for Olympics,we

should spend money for those cities to help.

Second reason is security.Nowadays Tokyo has become more dangerous city.Bad

news such as cases of muder with guns broadcast every day.If Tokyo would have the

Olympics, the law of not having guns in Japan would become easy to break because

there are some foreiners possibly bring guns to sell for Japanese

gangsters, pretending that they come to cheer for Olympics.

In conclusion,Tokyo should not have the 2016 Olympics due to economic and

security reasons. There are othe problems we should solve rapidly such as economic

problems, gun problems, the problem of pension and envirnmental problems.Ishihara

wants people to be cheerful through the Olympics, but there are many people who

have troubles and cannot be cheerful anyway. We have to think of those problems

and those people before thinking of Olympics.

My favourite movie

I reccomend you to see the movie titled "Pay It Foward." This is my favourite movie. I have seen it many times.

The summary of this story is that the 11 years old boy, Trevor tried to healp 3 people. In his social class, a new teacher gave students an assignment, 'Think what we can do to be a nice world'. Trevor thought hard and he had an idea. 'I will help 3 people, and these people will help also 3 people each, so there are 9 people who are helped. They help other 3 people each again...and again and again...' First he explained to his classmates, they laughed at him because no one believe it couldn't do. However, Trevor tried to help his mother, a homeless man and his classmate who was teased by senior. However, it seemed to be hard for the 11 years old boy to help others. He was depressed and giving up his assignment, but...

the miracle was happend.
Main actor is Haley Joel Osment who played in Trevor. He was also in The Sixth Sense and Artificial Intelligence:AI. His acting has powerd of letting people feel moved, which is wonderful.
Many people think this world was bad, umcomfortable and not fair same as Trevor. There were a thousand of things which are sad, disppointed, cruel and terrible. This movie tried to change people and this terrible world. It is a heartwarming movie. This movie has some kind of power which we forget to have. When I finished to see it, I could not stop crying. Now we have to think about ourselves, our countries, our natures and our worlld. See this movie, let's try to do action!!

Classification Essay

I'm introducing to my Classification Essay.

Religions are indispensable to many people. People’s faiths are so firm that it is no doubt to say that their whole lives including customs and personalities revolve around religions. Religions are roughly divided into four categories; Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism.

The first category is Christianity. Christianity was established in 4 A.D. by Jesus Christ. Christianity is distributed in Europe, America and Oceania. According to the online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, the population of believers called Christians is 2 billion and this means Christianity is the biggest religion in the world. As defined by The Christian Life, their customs are doing fellowship with God, studying about a bible, preaching a gospel so that non-Christians know about Christianity and going to church on Sunday to pray to God.

The second category is Islam. Islam was built up about 610 A.D. by Muhammad. According to Wikipedia, most believers called Muslims live in Asia and North America. The population is 1.3 billion and Islam is the second biggest religion in the world. Their customs are attending worship to pray, fasting on Monday and Thursday, wearing a scarf (only women) and going on pilgrimage to Mecca.

The third category is Hinduism. Hinduism was set up in 4 B.C. by Aryan. Hinduism is distributed in India and South Asia. The population of believers called Hindus is 90 million and this means Hinduism is the third biggest religion in the world. There are many strict rules. For example, Hinduism has hierarchy which is decided by nature. HINDUWEBSITE notes that other their rules are fasting, not eating meats of most animals and serving food to the poor and needy.

The final category is Buddhism. Buddhism was established in 5 B.C. by Gateman Siddhartha. Buddhists live in China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The population is 36 million and Buddhism is the fourth biggest religion in the world. As defined by Better Health Channel, their customs are chanting a prayer to the Buddha, avoiding meats and dairy products. Buddhist monks fast in the afternoon and they also avoid meats of bears, dogs, elephants, horses, snakes and tigers.

In conclusion, each religion has different characteristics. However, believing strongly to live believer’s lives is same as all religions. For them, which religions they belong to is very important because religions are based on their whole lives. Therefore, sometimes they criticize other religions. However, religion is implicit for them and makes their customs and personalities, so it is not strange they don’t like other religions.

TOTORO

I believe all you know "Tonarino Totoro" filmed by Hayao Miyazaki. I saw it tends of time, but this time I saw it in English for studying. I' ve already seen it many times before, so I knew the story and the lines they speaking almost all. Therefore it was easy to understand.

"Tonari no Totoro" is a fantasy. The heroines of this story are Mai who is about 5 year old girl, full of curiosity, and cheerfully, and Satsuki who is about 11 year old girl, May's sister, smart, reliable and full of curiosity as well. Their mother was disease and they live with their father in a big old house (It's called haunted house) they just moved to. There was very beautiful scene!! There were lots of trees, natures, and stream...In there Mai and Satsuki met Totoro, a king of forests. Totoro has a big mouths, small eyes and noses, he's cute!! There are middle Totoro and small Totoro as well. They can't be seen by adults, only kids can see them. One day, Mai and Satsuki got the news which their mother couldn't come back to their house. She supposed to have short holiday at home on the weekend. Mai and Satsuki had a little argument because Mai couldn't understand why her mother couldn't come back . Then Mai decided to go to her hospital to bring a scorn which she picked up for her mother. But it took 3 hours from Mai's house to mother's hospital even for grown men. Mai got lost. Satsuki asked Totoro to help to find Mai. And Nekobasu (a cat's bus) which is a ride for Totoro took Satsuki to Mai and took Satsuki and Mai to their mother's hospital. It's very heart warming, if you haven't seen yet, you should see it!!

I found some differences between the story in Japanese and the story in English.
At first, do you know what 'makkurokurosuke' in English? It's 'dush bunny'. Sounds
strange, isn't it?
And it is the key word of opening song,'Aruko'( le't's walk) turn to be 'Hey, let's go♪Hey, let's go♪' I hoped it wasn't changing.
I was surprised that when Satsuki went to school, Mai and father said 'Itte rasshay.' in Japanese turned to be in English, they said,' Thanks for saying good bye!' I know they don't have a greeting when they go out in English like as 'Itte kimasu' and 'Itte rasshay' in Japanese. So, bit surprised.
Another thing I noticed it seemed to be interesting is that;do you know this scene that Mai and Satsuki let grew plants up with Totoro at night and in the morning, plants were not as they saw at night, but they surey sprout? And they shouted around plants, "Yume dakedo, Yume jya nakatta!!' again and again. In English, hey said, "it was only dream, it wasn't a dream."Mmm, in Japanese, these lines are very catchy.
But in English, they are not. And in English, there were lots of expressions such as 'oh','ow', 'raar', 'mm-hmm', 'ah', 'yay!', 'hee', 'whoo', 'ya!', 'rahhrr!', 'aah', 'hmm,' 'uh-huh', mmreowr'and so on. So much funny expressions! I can't count all of them!!
Other things I found is calling name. There are no expression such as 'One-chan' 'Mai-chan' and 'Micchyan (Satsuki's friend's nickname)' in English. Therefore, Mai called Satsuki 'sis'or 'Satsuki'(in Japanese Mai called Satuki 'One-chan'. Kanta's grandmother called Mai 'Mai' (in Japanese, she called Mai 'Mai- chan'). It sounds strange Mai called Satsuki calls so. And there is a snece like that; during Satsuki was looking for Mai, trying to go to hospital but got lost, and Kanta was running toward to Satsuki by bike and told Satsuki to go back and he was going to hospital instead of Satsuki. Kanta was running calling Satsuki, and Satsuki shouted his nick name' Kan-chan'. This scene is one of my favourite because at first they didn't get along with, but they were interested in each other and Satsuki first called'Kan-chan' in this scene. However, in English, Satsuki called him'Kanta'. Mmm, freiendly feeling does not come from this scene in English...
On the other hand, English has another way to express friendly. For example,Kanta's grandmother said, 'Our Mai' or 'Little Mai'. Other Example is like that; there was a scene that Kanta's grandmother encourage Satsuki who was very worried her mother might be died. She said to Satsuki, "Your mother will be alright. ' Your nanny' will be with you." It sounds more friendly.
Oh I wonder that if foreign people see this movie, and see Mai and Satsuki were eating low non-cut cucumbers. Foreign people don't have such a custom, don't they?

It is so different comparing Japanese and English translation. Both of languages have pros and
cons. The purpose of seeing this movie was listening English, but I also can learn about their differences, pros and cons and re-think Japanese is a wonderful language.

Sherlock Holmes

There are many books I like but recently my favourite book is "Sherlock Holmes" written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I'd like to tell you about this book as his enthusiastic fan and I hope you will feel like reading.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Great Britain in 22 nd of May, 1859 and died in 7th of July, 1930. He mainly drew whodunits and historical novels. "Sherlock Holmes" was one of whodunits. He wrote 4 long storys and 56 short storys oh Sherlock Holmes.

"Sherlock Holmes" was described in eyes of John H. Watson. Watson is a doctor and the best partner of Sherlock Holmes. He was attractive Sherlock, so he decided to record of Sherlock's Skillful inference. And he published. Sherlock has various skill of a detective such as lipreading, observation, concentration, acting power, wide knowledge and so on. One of thing I was attractive and surprised is his observation. When he first met Watson, he guessed Watson is a doctor, he was an army surgeon during the war, He came back from Afghanistan by small his gesture and his appearance. Amazing ah!? Sherlock was described as a cold person and he was unconcerned except his job. But sometimes he shows us he is a heartwarming person, which I really like to read. Thecase he treated was very wide, to a personal level from a national level. What is important forhim to decide he undertakes to investigate is if the case is interesting, not money. He often cooperates with police officers, but he let them make an outstanding job even if he solved. He is not interested in honor. He is interested in a process of inference. I shall stop to tell you about him.
If you are interested in, you shall read!! I recommend you to read
"The Adventure of the Dancing Men" in "The Return Of Sherlock Holmes",
"The Adventure of the Dying Detective" in "His Last Bow",
"The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire" in "The case of Sherlock Holmes".
I'm sure you like Sherlock Holmes and you get an illusion he is a real person.

I and softball

-If I was asked when my bright page of my life was, I would surely answer, "It's when I was a junior high school student. Playing softball is my precious memory...-

I played softball when I was a junior high school student. In my school, we had to join any clubs. I joined a softball club because my best friend joined. very simple,eh?(laugh)When I was a freshman, softball club was a prison to me. Our seniors were severe and scary. When a senior carried a box of balls, other senior told us, "Hey! You carry! Why you let a senior carry balls!" After practticing, maintaing the ground is our job. When we had a game on Sunday and the time of gathering was at 7am, freshmans had to gather at 5:30am to clean balls and bats. Oh men, I didn't want to do that anymore...

When 3rd seniors retired in August, there were only 6seniors, so we had a chance to take part in a game. And I did as a shortstop! But I was not good at batting, so I practiced very hard. I swang 50 times, do push-up, back and abdominal muscle 50 times each every day. However, my batting was worse in sports meeting on October and we lost two rounds. After sports meeting, my position changed to a catcher. I was short and thin, so nobody thought I could be. At first, I was scared of a ball. I was always hit balls on my face, arms and knees... I was hate this position at first. I was always full of bruises. The job of catcher is cathing balls, ordering members where they should throw balls, and heaping up on a game. So cather has to be smart and have loud voice so that the outfiled players can hear. I couldn't have loud voice so I was always scolded by coach like that.

coach: Can't hear your voice!!
me:Yes.
coach:Still can't hear!!
me:Yes!
coach:More!!
me:Ye-s!!(with crying)
coach:more!!!
(to be continued...)

The coach was very strict and practicing was hard, I thought I wanted to quit many times. However, because I had nice teammates, I was able to do my best. And I got to be proud of my position. I used to think, "This is my position. I never let anyone do this position." My dream of these days was to be a prefessional softball player.

When my seniors retired, I became a vice-captain. We had a sports meeting on October, we won the championship! I was satisfied with this result. We practiced harder and harder. Thenks to hard practices, my batting was improved and my turn of batting was 4. Plus, I was able to get a MVP prise in
prefecture. (Oh I have to tell, not only me, but also dozen of players got.)

Last sports meeting on July, we couldn't be a champion. Some players were hurt and we might be careless because we once became a champion. These were reasons we lost. We were the 3rd place. We all cried, and our softball had finished...

Now I don't play softball. It is sad we don't have a softball circle in Aoyama. But I'll never forget about that time. I still like softball very much.

My Best Friend

I'd like to write about my best friend this time.

Her name is Tomoko. She is a friend of high school. Tomoko is kind of frank, and different
from usual girls. She has a unique character. She made me laugh all the time. On the other hand, she is thoughtful. We talked about a lot of kind of things such as our futures, about death, politics, environmental...lots of things. She likes tennis and she was a captain of tennis club. She and I were same class on second and third grades. However, we didn't get along with each
other when we were second grade. Because I studied abroad in New Zealand for about a year and remained in the same grade, I didn't know anybody. I got along with most of girls in class after all though. But there were three girls who I didn't talk to almost at all. Tomoko was one of them. She got along with other two girls. They didn't speak to me, but I had four other great friends and other girls were nice to me, so I didn't care of them.

When I became third grade, we changed a member of classes. Unfortunately, I was same class as her. "Oh man! Same class!? And my seat is next to her? And...my seat is...just in front of teacher..." At first, I didn't know what I should talk to her. I think she was on same situation.

After we got along with each other, we talked about at that time, both of us confessed that we felt awkward with each other. Anyway, as time went by, we increase in talking, we found that our personalities were similar and made great relationships.

As I told you upper, we talked a lot. That time was precious me and made my mind grow up. We were always together, talking, fighting, encouraging each other when we studied for entrance examinations, romping like a child... Anytime I was with her was valuable.

She goes to school in Yamagata, so we can't meet each other very often. But we promise that we will go graduate trip and start over our youth like before when we finish colleges. For this promise, I can do my best whenever I spend tough time. I'm so happy to have such a friend.

Norman Rockwell

You might have seen his pictures (see second picture which is on bottom). He is a American famous painter and illustrator. He is also famous in Japan. I like him very much. My wallet is hisdesign, and my schedule book is his, too. oh, my calender, too. I'd like to tell you about him.

Norman Rockwell was born in New York, 3rd of February, 1894. He graduated from art school. In 1916 through 1963, He painted a cover of "Saturday Evening Post. His style of paints is that he painted American citizen's lives with a light touch. His paints had great expressions of Americans' hearts, so he became famous. On the other hand, his pictures in the later period tell us that he had a social nature strongly. He also drew portraits of Dwight David Eisenhower, (34'sUS Presdent) , John Fitzgerald Kennedy(35's US President), Lyndon Baines Johnson(36's US Presdent) and so on. In any case, he was the greatest painter in the world. He painted over 2000, but most of them had lost by a fire. He died 8th of November,1978.

(Norman Rockwell. Wikipedia. 12/5/2007. http://ja.wikipedia.org/)

The reason why I like him, I had an opportunity to go to an art exhibition when I was a high school student with my friend. There were many other painter's works, but I was nailed by his pictures. His pictures were moving at any moment, and easy to image what people on the picture do. Most of his pictures were a part of daily life. His works were felt warm. I'd like to go to his exhibition again if I can have a chance.

Hiromi by Takuji Ichikawa

One of my hobby is reading books. I like Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle, books by Torey Hayden, Kitchen by Yoshimoto Banana, Ryuuseiwagon by Shigematsu Kiyoshi, etc...Now what book I wanna introduce you here is "Hiromi" written by Ichikawa Takuji. You might not know about this book, but you perhaps get to know if I say "Ima Aini Ikimasu" is also written by him.

When I say with a word, Hiromi is a story of a bond of family. The title of Hiromi is a name of boy and a chief character of this story. He is a elementary school student. He is sickly by nature. His parents notice that Horomi has a wound on the side and he looks very hard on the land, but comfortable in the water. They use internet and find that there are few people having same constitution as Hiromi. They are called "the children of Atom" Their feature is that 1) they have wounds on the sides, 2) they are weak on the land but strong in the water, so 3) they can dive for very long time. When Hiromi's family(Hiromi, Hiromi's parents and actually, he has a yonger sister) knows Hiromi's constitution, they have 2 choices, 1) Hiromi keeps living on his home with hardness, or, 2) he goes to America to live with other "the children of Atom" by sea. They don't wanna separate
family, but decide to leave Hiromi to go to America, so that he can live easily.

When I finished reading this book, I just felt...something
strange. "They can't live on the land!? What a strange!" Of
course, this story is fiction, but I was drawn by this story,
and thought it is a real story.

There are many intractable diseases and suffered people, not like Hiromi's disease, but lots of
diseases which treatments are not possible. There are also people who are suffering invisible diseases including mental diseases. We should rethink only not for ourselves, but also these kind of people to live happily. We can't live without healthy body, and we also can't live without healthy hearts. We have to have both. We should know there are many kind of people and some suffer their problems, and other have to wait for their death.

This book is not moved story, or draw tears, but something heart warming. Also, Ichikawa Takuji is a great author. He writes well, and his expression is abundant and soft. You can go to
his imagination world easily.

A trip to Izu,Shizuoka

I went to Izu, Shizuoka on Sunday to Monday(29th to 30th) with my friends. It was the first time that I went a trip to Izu, so I felt excited. We arrived at hotel in the afternoon on Sunday, we soon went to pick strawberrys. Because it was very hot and I didn't like strawberrys very much, I just ate about less ten strawberrys. (Don't ask why I went to there!) After we went back to hotel, we took a hotspring which was purpose of this trip. Yes, it was comfortable and I felt I was cleaned by myself. Then, we had a special, gorgeous, beautiful dinner. My main dish was crabs. One of my friend's was abalone, and another friend's waslobster. All of them looked great, and we enjoyed our dinner. Unfortunatly for me, however, I am a small eater, I couldn't eat them all. Sythetically, it was great. After dinner, we played "WATER WORKING", the card game. We had a fun time. It's nice to have time with friends!

Next day, we woke up at 6:30 and we had an appreciation of final hotspring. The contrast between the tempaerature and water tempetature in hotspring in the morning was really nice. I had a very good time.

We checked out bit earlier and went to ride a ropeway which go to the top of the mountain. What did I see on the top?-Mt.Fuji!! I was the first time to see it. In front of Japan's largest mountain, Mt.Fuji, I was very excited. It was beautiful, magnificent and impressible!!! I'd like to climb up the huge thing!

This time was a very short trip, but I was so happy to go to. Plus, spending time
with friends through a day, it was nice to cultivate a friendship. Anyway, trip is fun. Tomorrow will be on school, didn't wanna come back...(laugh)

Jyuhyo

I'd like to tell you about jyuhyo, a snow monster. I went to see them Zao,Yamagata, my home town in this Spring holiday. Jyuhyo is one of Yamagata's symbol. Many tourists, including foreigners, ome to see. In fact, I lived in Yamagata for almost 17 years, but I had never seen jyuhyo. This was a reason why I wanted to see. Jyuhyo is a mass of ice and snow. The key of making jyuhyo is 'the monsoon'. The monsoon with moisture whip the trees, and moisture becomes ice. Then the tree with ice are deeply covered with snow. The condition of temperature to make jyuhyo is -5℃.

Back to my storys. I went to the top of the mountain by a lift. The altitude of top of the mountain is 1736 m. On the way I rode the lift, suddenly felt sick and can't move. "Oh gosh, I can't go on anymore. I have to give up?" But I didn't. "I have to see!" - When I went to the top and saw hundreds and fhousands jyuhyo in all around ways, I didn't feel sick anymore. "It's...just amazing! I have never seen such a beautiful sight! Can't believe!According to the reputation, the snow monsters are like monsters, and looked down at me with magnificant attitude.

What only one thing was regrettable was that because we have had a mild winter this year, there was little snow, so jyuhyo were bit smaller than last year. I always said, "Ah, I don't like snow! It's hard to go to school!" when I lived in Yamagata. But this time, "I wanna snow now!" (laugh) Well,I can't win the nature, there is nothing I can do. (sigh) Anyway, jyuhyo were still beautiful. I was happy that I didn't give up and could see strong, wonderful and beautiful jyuhyo.
